FICEP board members met in Vienna
On Friday the sports commission with their president Manfred Castor (DJK) met to discuss the upcoming FICEP winter games 2013 and summer games 2014 (both in Austria). For the winter games 2013 in Aigen/Mühlkreis about 250 participants are awaited. As a new member of the committee M. Castor welcomed Monika Bertram from DJK Germany.
In the afternoon the task group "FICEP future 2015" with Sepp Born (Sport Union Schweiz), Anne Cordier (FSCF), Rainer Rösslhuber (SPORTUNION), Volker Monnerjahn (DJK) and Dietmar Heeg (DJK) met for the second time. The results within the created strategy thesis about collaboration of the member countries, board activities and finance, were presented and discussed at the board meeting on Saturday. In future the international clubs of FICEP member associations should benefit more from FICEP as an organisation that assists young people by offering them the possibility to carry out sports activities on an international basis.
For the next FICEP Youth Camp 2013 the committee finally decided that it will take place in Italy. The youth commission is now doing their best to organise it together.
The next meeting of the board members will be on 5th and 6th of April 2013 at the General Assembly in Vienna.
